Nick and Aaron are the best! They make me feel like I still live in a small Montana town. The way that they take care of me and my Subaru. I highly recommend Hoff's Automotive!

I had an extremely difficult time, my vehicle broke down in Missoula. The auto shop I originally took my vehicle wasn't capable of doing the work that needed done. I found a shop closer to home that said they were able to do the work. A1 Mechanic in Lincoln, Gary and Julia Hicks are a joke, my car sat in their driveway for months, August through March.. My car needed a new engine, Julia and Gary said they would help me find an engine, she would send me crap, used engines, not verified, 3 month Warranties. I didn't want that, I started looking myself. Found an engine I liked, got help from a friend and purchased it, little did I know this would upset Julia and Gary from A1 Mechanics here in Lincoln, they weren't getting their cut or something. Long story short they told me I had less than 24 hours to get my vehicle off their property. I made a few phone calls and found Nick at Hoffs Automotive. He was quick to answer my message and get right back to me, with little notice, I dropped my vehicle and engine I had just bought off (literally on his front porch) and he was able to get the job done quickly and efficiently. He didn't stop at the engine, he took the time with a fine tooth co

This is probably the best mechanic shop I have ever been to! Nick was amazing at helping me out with the issues of my car. He was very upfront about everything and didn’t try to sweep anything under the rug. I would highly recommend anyone needing automotive work to check these guys out. I will definitely be back if I ever need work done on my car in the future! Thank you Hoff Automotive for such a great experience during a very stressful time!

I called Nick to get a price comparison on an engine replacement for my Jeep. He was not taking on projects of that scale at the time, but still took the time talking through questions and concerns I had about the process and was very honest and knowledgeable. That is top tier customer service!

Nick made sure to explain the reasons things aren't working and explored options with me. He offers affordable services without cutting corners. He replaced the struts on my son's car for almost half of what one of the other shops in town quoted me and he didn't tack on unnecessary things that weren't needed. He also spent time researching a way to resolve a headlight issue we're having because one of the custom places in town didn't do the job right and left us hanging. The customer service there is fantastic and things are explained in a way that doesn't make you feel dumb for asking. Hoff's is honest and affordable, highly recommend!
